Drivers- class a cdl - united states, lafayette (indiana)
adecco is currently assisting a local company in lafayette, in for 1st shift drivers. this is a temp to hire opportunity for the right candidates. must have class a cdl-$24-$30/hr. pay will depend on experience. background and drug screen required.
must complete daily equipment pre-trip safety inspection form, obtaining final check on all loads from supervisor or co-worker for proper count and conditions of load. delivering and unloading materials by hand or by use of equipment to customer’s satisfaction, recording all merchandise returned and assisting in unloading material for credit, completing necessary paperwork such as delivery tickets and credit slips, providing assistance to customers on orders and returns.
coordinating with receiving agents to stock material in a timely manner in the designated areas. restocking empty bins, straightening, and flat stacking, restocking stock customer returns after they have been documented.
relaying messages sent by customers while on the jobsite, assisting supervisor and other employees in other work areas as needed.
maintain appropriate licensing and associated requirements as required by the indiana department of transportation.
job requirements:
1yr- forklift experience
ability to lift 50+ pounds
class a cdl or class b cdl
construction experience a plus
