you will be working as part of a friendly, welcoming and expert multidisciplinary theatre team supported by our experienced theatre manager, marie.

about you

you will be a part 1 registered nmc nurse or an hcpc registered operating department practitioner and it is essential that you have previous experience in major orthopaedics. as well as being up to date with current research and developments in theatre practise you will have a sound knowledge of health and safety/risk management within the operating department. you will be responsible for ensuring the continual cleanliness of the theatre and equipment.

it goes without saying privacy and confidentiality are key throughout the team and you will act as an advocate for the patient in the intra-operative phase and be responsible for "total patient" care in the perioperative phase.

this bonus is offered to those who commence substantive employment within a practice plus group secondary care location between 1st october 2022 and 28th february 2023 in a role wholly or mainly dedicated to the hands on delivery of patient care requiring registration with either the nmc or hcpc, and sonographers. the bonus is paid in two parts, gbp500 at the end of your first month of employment and gbp1500 after 6 months of employment conditional on successful completion of a probation period. the total bonus is pro-rata for part time joiners.
