my client is looking for a graduate engineer or cad technician to join their new design team, this is an exciting opportunity for anyone starting their career in design!
the successful candidate will work with their existing teams to contribute to the technical excellence of the company as a whole. in return you will be provided with the support and guidance you require and the opportunity to experience a variety of interesting and diverse projects across the country!
main duties
designing and implementing engineering solutions for our clients in the private and public sectorsdeveloping excellent and effective collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, external providers and other agencies;responsible for the completion of assigned tasks to budget and programme;preparing reports, drawings, schedules, cost estimates and other documents; assisting senior members with monthly programme and financial reporting. essential requirements
experience of designing roads to local and national highway design standards;understanding of the technical approval process relating to section 278 and section 38 agreements; experience in producing highway design technical drawings / autocad;working knowledge of the various uk national design standards such as the dmrb, tsrgd, mfs;experience in production of budget construction cost estimates; benefits
