about the role

virgin media o2 have announced additional cost-of-living payments which this role is eligible for. for new joiners from november 2022 this will mean up to gbp1000 in additional pay. we'll explain more about how this works at your interview.

as a customer service advisor, you're the expert on the other end of the line. you'll help our customers with their tv, broadband, home phone or mobile phone services, handling a range of queries from our customers, including technical and fault reports, to bill payments and credit issues - aiming for smiles all round.

you'll spot opportunities to promote amazing products and services that customers aren't taking advantage of - and explain exactly what there is to love.

you have the freedom to be creative and think out of the box to get a resolution for all customer queries. we want you to have great interactions and conversations with our customers ensuring you are resolving things first time; you will have access to a vast knowledge tool and systems which will support you achieve a resolution for our customers.

you won't need any technical knowledge - we'll teach you everything you need to know about how to deliver the best customer experience.

working from home approach

we understand that work is something you do, not somewhere you go. that's why we strive to provide a flexible workplace where you can enjoy a combination of working from home and office-based working.

after your 6-week full time induction in our office, your working week could look something like this: 2 days a week in the office and 3 days a week working from home.

you must live within a commutable distance of our birmingham office, which is close by to birmingham airport

be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where the customer always comes first

you'll be passionate about building great relationships with our customers

enjoy working towards targets

be adaptable to change and flexible in your approach

have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn

basic salary of gbp21,420 per annum

25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and your birthday off every year!

you'll work 37.5 hours per week 5 days out of 7 on rotational shift patterns between monday to sunday 8am - 9pm.
