we are looking for a dynamic senior regional business development manager.

leading the royal academy of engineering enterprise hub in scotland, you will build a strong and credible network of key stakeholders, champion engineering and technology entrepreneurs, ensuring they have skills, networks and resources at their disposal to succeed in their entrepreneurial endeavour.

the role

your impact on the future of engineering innovation locally will be considerable; with significant autonomy to operate, you be charged with ensuring successfully starting up and growing the enterprise hub in scotland. with this in mind, we are looking for an exceptional professional. with the people skills to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders from entrepreneurs, research, industry and government locally, you will bring significant experience of supporting engineering and technology innovators and a good knowledge of innovation and entrepreneurship policy.

naturally, you should be adept at managing networks, leading projects and interpreting technical material. you will share our deep passion for engineering, technology and entrepreneurship. a business development background would be very useful, but it's your relationship management and commitment to delivery, that will matter most.

this is a hybrid role with two days a week at glasgow city innovation district - university of strathclyde. this is a fixed term contract for 18 months in the first instance.
