Pharmacy technician - united states, kansas city (kansas)

adecco medical & science is looking for multiple pharmacy technicians in overland park ks! these are temporary to permanent opportunities!

schedule:       1st shift hours—5:30 am to 3 pm, monday - friday

length:             3+ months

type:       temporary to permanent

responsibilities of the pharmacy technician:

dispense any or all the following: tablets/capsules, unit doses, specialty pharmaceuticals, injectables, iv, and related supplies following state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures

process, pack, and ship outgoing pharmacy orders, ensuring drug, related supplies, and patient collateral (education materials) are included

perform drug/supply ordering and inventory/warehouse duties, including proper storage of drugs and supplies and appropriate refrigeration of perishable product, monitor and adjust/calibrate pharmacy equipment, fill dispensing units

standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs. frequently in a warehouse environment

qualifications for the pharmacy technician:

highschool/ged or equivalent

active and unrestricted pharmacy technician license in the state of kansas

1+ year of experience with computers and ms office products
