what you’ll be doing
working hard to ensure that consistent, quality products are produced following all do & co standards being a role model, leading a team and producing pastry according to the head pastry chef/ pastry sous chef schedule instilling a culture of job pride and ownership and motivate the team to have the ability to adapt to stressful situations and deal with any emergencies or last-minute changes to production coordinating, planning, and participating in the production, preparation, and presentation of meals in adherence to the menu specifications take ownership of a section within our busy production kitchen prepare and bake dishes with pride; ensuring they are made to exact specifications work closely with the kitchen brigade, maintaining an inclusive team environment using your culinary knowledge to ensure the quality levels remain at our high standards partner with the sous chefs, helping them with any given duties in kitchen management delegate responsibilities to kitchen helpers, giving them your knowledge to assist in their development
what’s essential for us?
previous experience as a pastry chef de partie working on multiple sections impressive knife skills airline catering would be fantastic, although not essential confident working in busy, fast paced culinary environments ambitious and motivated to produce high quality dishes able to communicate effectively in english confident working in a team right to work in the uk
