Ehs manager - united states, jamestown (new york)
our top client in the bronx ny is seeking an ehs manager to join the manufacturing team. this is a newly created position. primary duties include:
- develop, implement and administer the environmental, health & safety (ehs) program and policies for the plant and warehouse
- provide training to all employees at the plant and warehouse
- ensure areas are safe per ohsa standards, epa and sop's
- provide reports to management and stakeholders
position reports to general manager with dotted line to corporate ehs director.
ideal candidates for ehs manager in bronx ny will possess the following.
- bachelor's degree.
- csp, asp or similar certifications and training
- 5+ years' experience in ehs/hse/safety
- 3+ years in a manufacturing environment
