Shop assistant/sales assistant - united kingdom, godalming, surrey
we're looking for dedicated and trustworthy full time retail (off license)shop assistant in godalming town(gu7 3hj).
hours: full time / permanent
the role:
as the shop assistant you'll report directly to the owner and will be primarily responsible for would playing a role in the smooth running of the off license/convenience shop, ensuring that all customers receive great products and a friendly service at all times.
you'll also be tasked with the following:
responsible for stock rotation and coordinate the disposal of surpluses
managing and overseeing shop operations, developing a routine for opening and closing.
monitoring stock levels and product performance.
dealing with customers and providing a high level of customer service.
managing till and handling cash.
stocking up shelves.
we need a staff for 5 days per week as per below.
mon: 08:30am to 7:00pm
tue: 08:30am to 7:00pm
thu: 08:30am to 7:00pm
fri: 08:30am to 7:00pm
sat: 5:45am to 7:00pm
sun: 6:45am to 2pm
friday night accommodation can be provide for one night if you are travelling from far.
wages : net £1250per month (wages will be paid cash in hand)
previous experience is ideal but not essential. gujarati candidate will be preferable
