essential duties and responsibilities:
operate office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems, and use computers for spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and other applications
gather email addresses to be used for electronic financial transactions (ach remittance advices) for all vendors paid via ach.
responsible for auditing/reviewing vendor records to ensure all have a w-9 on file.
set up and maintain paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other material
locate and attach appropriate files to incoming correspondence requiring replies
greet office visitors and handle their inquiries or direct them to the appropriate person based on their needs
open, read, route, and distribute incoming mail or other materials and answer routine letters
complete forms in accordance with company procedures
minimum knowledge, skills and abilties required:
high school diploma or equivalent
minimum 2 years clerical office or data entry support
requires proficiency with microsoft office products including outlook, word, excel, and powerpoint.
pay for this position is $16.00/hr plus overtime as needed. this is a long-term temporary opportunity.
