job functions / responsibilities
coordinate accounting and tracking of capital projects
participate in department overhead reviews for month-end and forecast
prepare monthly journal entries
complete monthly account reconciliations, as assigned
participate in year-end closing activities, as assigned
provide accounting support for operations
identify and implement process improvements
assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
qualifications & skills
ability to handle multiple priorities
attention to detail with a “big picture” focus
ability to influence and work with employees at all levels of the organization
strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, with strong attention to detail
excellent analytical and technical accounting skills
strong microsoft office skills – excel, word & powerpoint
understanding of u.s. gaap and internal controls
sap experience desired
