responsibilities for a blender position include, but are not limited to:
weigh and add ingredients to kettles (liquid & dry raw materials) for each batch of product according to the product formulation.
must be comfortable working with large machinery, boilers, kettles, mixers, burners, and drums/pallets of a variety of chemicals
ability to lift and/or move up to 55 lbs. stand, bend & twist up to 8 hours a day.
accurately and neatly complete required batch sheet/work-order documentation.
maintain equipment, pumps, motors, valves etc in good working condition by proper storge, sanitizing and minor maintenance as
to be considered for a blender position, you should:
valid driver’s license
forklift certification
passing score on forklift assessment
high school diploma or ged/ bachelors in scince preferred
follow all gmp, sop and food safety (sqf) production guidelines.
maintain a clean working environment, visitor ready at all times.
ensure proper storage of all tooling, equipment, supplies, including all raw materials and finished good products.
collect new product samples and perform initial qc product testing to ensure product meets established qc parameters.maintain good work ethics and always present a positive attitude
perform final packaging and label of finished good drums and totes.
