Experienced hard landscaper - united kingdom, brighton, east sussex
grove gardens are currently looking for an experienced skilled hard landscaper to join our small team.
we are an established landscape gardening business based in brighton and hove, who over the past 20 years we have established an excellent reputation for our workmanship and detailing.
the successful candidate will need to have at least 8 years experience and be proficient in all hard landscaping disciplines required for high end gardens, including setting out from plans, laying natural stone and porcelain paving, drainage, brickwork, timber-work, walling, as well as the ground works required.
the right candidate must be able to work independently on larger projects but also experienced in running smaller jobs. after a successful trial period, a company van will be provided.
you would also need the following.
competence in digger driving.
a keen eye for detail.
strong communication skills with customers and team.
the ability to self-motivate and the desire to work within a team.
strong literacy and numeracy skills.
you will also need to demonstrate very high standards of workmanship.
a full driving licence is essential
hours average - mon - fri 8am -5pm
excellent rates of pay depending on experience. £32k - £37k
you will also be enrolled in the government pension scheme.
