key responsibilities of the technical sales engineer:

produce and revise designs in autocad mep and revit, be responsible for training other team members, and champion the development of our custom revit plug-insprovide technical and commercial support to both customers and the field sales team, from mechanical, electronic, and controls perspectives to at least a second line support stagereact to inbound sales enquiries to understand customer requirements and add to the crm, this includes reviewing m&e specifications/ schedules, checking of drawings and technical specifications, and obtaining any missing information from the customeruse bespoke software and supporting documents to select and specify correct products and/or services for quotationsproduce and issue quotations, project proposals, fan schedules, bill of materials, and information packs in a timely mannerdevelop, maintain, and follow up on customer relationships with m&e consultants, developers, and architects to increase selling opportunities and instil customer confidence in the airflow product range and our support servicesmaintain the accuracy of the crm system as per policy / best practice, and understand our internal processes and costs to effectively handle enquiries to win projectscontinual personal development including product knowledge, and being fully conversant with all relevant building regulations, technical bulletins, and studies with the ability to apply knowledge practicallythis technical sales engineer role would suit candidates with experience in the following areas: engineering, sales, customer service, autocad mep, revit.

to be successful in this role you will:

be able to produce full revit ventilation designs by the end of the 3-month probationary period (training resources will be provided if required)document and review process improvements and internal training guides for revitprovide training to other team members to a level where they are able to produce full revit ventilation designswork with our developer and be responsible for enhancing our custom revit plug-insparticipate constructively in department meetings, technical meetings, and sales meetingsmaintain clear, concise, and effective business communication. this will be primarily through the company crm systemmaintain a high level of customer service in a professional and timely manner and uphold company standards with a conscientious and pro-active approachproactively approach and resolve technical support requests in a timely mannercommitment to and ownership of resultsensure accuracy and completeness of work and reportingcommitment to both company and self-growth, this includes continual improvement of product knowledge to provide exemplary customer service and product / service offeringsprovide administrative support to the sales teamsprovide cross departmental support with cover on telephonesessential skills
