i am a physically disabled man with a good sense of humour who is looking to expand my team of companions (personal assistants) to assist me to have an active life.
i am looking for friendly and socially-confident companions who will support me at weekends (mainly friday afternoons and 10-4 on saturdays). the duties will involve social activities (e.g. going for a walk, going to the cinema) as well as meal preparation.
you will need to be physically able to get my wheelchair in and out of the car and push it (with the in it!) over untarmacked/uneven surfaces around country parks as well as be able to support me to go swimming which involves physical support to help me get changed and in and out of the pool.
rate of pay: £10.92 per hour before tax and ni deductions. pvg maybe required which will be discussed at interview stage and arranged by myself.
