gi group are excited to announce we are hiring a van collections driver for royal mail relay services in gateshead on follinsby park.the exciting role will involve driving a royal mail van around the newcastle and durham areas, doing collections for specialist contracts.

the suitable driver must have the following:

- a full and valid uk driving licence, with no more than 6 points with no tt or dd endorsements due to insurance policies.

- have multi-drop driver experience, and be able to stick to tight schedules.

- be confident in planning own driving routes, as well as being able to make quick adjustments and show flexibility.

- be reliable, approachable and friendly while following royal mails standards.

- be able to pass a dbs and security check.

shifts and pay

- current shifts available - 04:00 starts, 11:00 starts, 13:30 starts, and a 19:00 starts.

these shifts can fall across weekends, however the majority of work will be during monday to friday. candidates are not required to work all shifts, but you must be able to have a flexibility to support business needs.

- £13.71 per hour if your shift starts between 06:00 - 22:00

- £14.93 per hour if your shift starts between 22:00 - 06:00
