Qa tech - united states, lancaster (pennsylvania)

adecco is seeking a qa tech for a client in downingtown, pa. this is a temp to hire opportunity and pays weekly!

shifts: 10:30am-7pm (may occasionally be asked to cover day or night shifts to cover vacations)

pay rate: $18 an hour

technical skills

trained on or able to train on laboratory equipment including but not limited to refractometers, o2 meters, scales, water activity meters, temperature probes and gauges, and more.

responsible for monitoring, and programing critical control points (ccp).

responsible for monitoring and product food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process.

responsible for performing sanitation verification and allergen testing on equipment and other areas required.

responsible for the correct recording and filing of all relevant record logs and documentation. ensures the correct recipe guidelines for products are met during processing.

ensures employees are following all food safety and worker safety practices.

ensures and educates employees on food safety and sqf standards.

collect product samples for product development, lab retains and the laboratory when directed.

perform inspections on products, equipment and machinery.

develop and maintain inspection reports.

ensure compliance to federal and state laws, as well as company standards and specifications.

maintain calibration of quality control equipment.

qualification requirements

high school diploma or equivalent certification (ex. ged)

1+ years in manufacturing environment

must have or be willing to obtain a forklift license

previous manufacturing knowledge of haccp, sqf, and gmp (highly preferred)

proficiency in basic computer skills
