an excellent opportunity for an experienced spray painter to join a well-established company based in rutherglen.

about the company:

they are a growing family business with great attention to detail, they are bsi accredited and have also won best bodyshop at the british bodyshop awards.

the company are now looking to recruit an experienced time served spray painter to join their busy team.

about the role:

dealing with painting equipment. sanding down and preparing the bodywork. selecting, matching and mixing colours. applying primer coats, main coats and finishes. cleaning and maintaining equipment. prepare vehicles to be painted by hand or machine. touch up paintwork and apply polish to vehicles. remove masking papers before waxing and polishing finished paintwork. working in a spray booth to ensure paint is confined to the specific areas.

candidate requirements:

skilled in the profession with a minimum of 5 years’ service. comfortable in a painting environment. self-motivated, enthusiastic and organised. keen to support others and a cooperative team player. the ability to maintain a consistent high standard whilst under pressure. able to complete work from start to finish within the time frame given. customer focused and team oriented. housekeeping of area worked in.

you will receive competitive rates of pay, time and a half is after 46 hours, unlimited overtime available. matched pension contributions up to 5%, a friendly team environment and open to flexible working hours. this role is based on 40 hours a week monday to friday.
