Production worker (part time- fri & sat) - united states, richmond (indiana)

adecco is hiring immediately for production workers with a local client in hammond, in. production workers perform essential duties with pay starting at $15.50/hour.

 

responsibilities:

set up and operate machines

load/unload machine (may be assisted by automation or ergo aids)

operate manual material handling equipment to restock production areas with raw material or purchased parts

move wheeled carts, racks, bins containing work in progress to adjacent production areas

eliminate routine errors, perform minor maintenance work

participate in troubleshooting and solving any production related problems (e.g., machine breakdown, defects in purchased parts)

inspect product quality

disassemble scrap products, salvage material

cleaning surrounding work areas

may be assigned different duties depending on plant needs

 

requirements:

high school diploma or ged equivalent

1-2 years of manufacturing experience

ability to stand for duration of shift

ability to safely lift up to 50lbs
