our client is a cutting-edge, successful and award-winning company, that offers industry-leading drug discovery services around the world. collaborating with their clients, finding cures for a range of medical issues, such as oncology, inflammation and metabolic disease. the role: we are looking for a senior research scientist to manage the home office project licenses. playing an essential role in supporting and leading client projects. this is an opportunity to work with highly motivated, like-minded colleagues in a science-oriented environment. responsibilities: manage and expand project licenses and ensure that the lab operates within all relevant regulations. including managing in vivo studies independently design and execute preclinical studies both internally and externally, and interpret the results of these studies provide input to the strategy and direction of projects, and deliver projects in a customer-focused environment provide leadership, support and ongoing development to the junior staff and junior research scientists support the study director team and is able to manage a small number of projects if needed qualifications: bsc and msc in life science or a related discipline experience in drug discovery or translational research gained in an academic or in an industry setting prior experience in holding project licence experience with in vivo models ability to work to tight deadlines and to value the importance of teamwork excellent organisational and communication skills company benefits: a highly competitive salary and yearly bonus investing in your personal development and growth
