business analyst / product owner cloud experience milton keynes aera to gbp70,000 our client designs and manufactures exception security management access control products. due to the unique markets they operate in, they are looking to double in growth within the next two years and seek a business analyst or product owner who has experience with commercial software development, specifically cloud-based software solutions, to help facilitate their ambitions. this is an exciting and challenging role for that would suit an experienced analysts/product owners who has proven cloud and commercial software experience who can look at a cloud solution from scratch rather than adding to an existing platform. as a senior product owner, you will lead a small, but growing team of product owners. as well as having line management responsibility for 1-2 product owners, you will mentor and coach them and seek to continually improve the product owner practice within the business to ensure that there is proper representation voice of the customer whilst also feeding and truly supporting the development teams. you will also be hands-on, acting as product owner on key projects, working closely with the product managers and other key stakeholders to capture voice of customer input around user functional and non-functional needs, including the user experience. you will translate this feedback into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria in a clear and consistent way that is readily digestible by the r&d team. in addition, you will help the r&d team understand the wider business context and value associated to the functions and features they are working on to ensure that the end product delivers the functionality, experience and value required by their customers. you will be the key conduit for answering functionality and user experience queries from the r&d team and validating these assumptions with other stakeholders to ensure what they deliver aligns with market needs, including performing user acceptance testing as and when required with customers and/or internal stakeholders. acting as the bridge between the product managers and the r&d team, you will concentrate on maximizing the value of the product, whilst maintaining a good balance between what is technically achievable and what is really needed. key skills & experience 5yrs+ proven experience as a product owner working with agile teams and methodologies. commercial software development solutions 2yrs+ team leadership experience. demonstrable background in investigating, analysing and documenting clear requirements, epics, user stories and acceptance criteria. ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver on a common goal. keen interpersonal skills, adept at developing robust working relationships with team members and customers. active listener, with outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills. highly organised, self-disciplined with strong planning and time management skills. strong analytical and technical aptitude with creative, practical problem-solving skills. consistent approach with solid attention to detail. highly proficient in microsoft office products (word, excel, power point, outlook). by sending us your cv, you explicitly consent to our personal data processing on a computer database to evaluate your employment application. this processing will work following the uk data protection act 1998. by applying for this role, you at this moment consent to us to finding you work on your behalf. if you do not wish your cv to be sent to our client, you must clearly state it to us. intech recruitment act as both an employment agency for all permanent positions and as an employment business for temporary contract positions. please note: all calls are recorded for training, quality, and business purposes
