Housekeeper / before school and post-school nanny (separate live-in accommodation if required) - united kingdom, beaconsfield, buckinghamshire

hello!

we are looking for before school and after school childcare / housekeeper for our family of two happy children (girl 12, boy 10) and cocker spaniel dog. we have a double bedroom / lounge / open-plan kitchen / bathroom in a separate flat for your use at our property if live-in position preferred.

the day starts at 6.30am which involves making sure the children are awake, giving them breakfast, helping them with reading etc and then driving both children to the school bus stop (7 mins) and school (12 mins). this is finished by roughly 8.15am. we would like the dog to be walked (and let out) at some stage during the day if possible. school pick-up is normally 5.30pm (sometimes 4pm if no after school club) and can involve a couple of outside school activities, helping with homework, supervising music practice, cooking and feeding the children. the day will normally finish at 7pm. occasionally the kids have clubs that require a 7.30pm pick up, but conversely if we are around on a friday afternoon we will do school pick up and you can have the afternoon off. we would ideally like a few jobs done (maybe 1-2 hours a day at most) involving washing clothes / dropping parcels off / online food order / odd household chores etc. we have a cleaner already but if this is of interest then this can be discussed.

we are looking for someone that can provide security and support to our children and help us run a happy family life. obviously we are biased (!), but we believe our children are well-behaved, respectful, kind and happy.

we are flexible and thus open to talk different options - whether live-in or live-out. we just want someone happy, positive, organised, logistically solid and with a 'can-do' kind attitude that the kids can learn from.

a driver is essential. we live in a small village near gerrards cross / beaconsfield (7 mins drive to both) and 4 mins from a train which gets you into london west end within half an hour. you will have use of a car during the day and for any children's activities.

pay negotiable dependent on the agreed job specification, but we will pay at least the market rate and if live in will include accommodation and all utility bills / council tax and any food consumed with the children in the house.
