i am working with a leading london market insurance company who are looking for a java technical architect. my client is open to a senior java developer who is looking to move into an architecture role.

experience:

* proven experience of identifying and designing changes to system architecture, including reviewing the technical integrity of internal assets

* able to develop, own, and publish the product technical architecture and design documentation

* proven ability to translate the high-level designs into the technical specifications to facilitate efficient and effective development and unit testing

* prior work experience in an insurance or technology field preferred

* experience of java-based applications and frameworks
