salary £23000-£24000 according to experience and knowledge.
hours - monday to friday 9 to 5pm with 1 hour lunch. car owner driver required due to rural location.
our established client is looking for someone who can work in a team and on their own initiative.
dealing with incoming emails and distributing within the organisation to the correct person or department.raising quotes where necessary, matching orders to quotations already raised using salesforce system. closing winning or losing of quotations on salesforce.entering orders and scheduling and re scheduling where necessary.scanning of said orders on to the company system. (training will be given)
raising sample requests.
entering of data onto the fedex delivery system.
entering of data onto our external courier system.
raising purchase orders for the above so that invoices can be passed to our accounts department to be paid.
buddying with an external salesperson and dealing with general queries or information searching and supplying data to them.
dealing with public in person if they arrive at the office reception.
dealing with collections from builders’ yards and collection of hardcore from our yard by a few regular customers.
dealing with post.
training will be given to support and cover in other key areas when required.
this will involve arranging of data from our system, scheduling into a daily spreadsheet.
contacting customers to ensure that the delivery can be accepted.
raising internal paperwork for our lorries to deliver into sites and builders’ yards the following day.
confirming of despatch notes and running the invoice process through the system.
contacting external hauliers to cover any additional loads that cannot be covered by our own fleet of lorries.
raising purchase orders to cover this.
dealing with and updating customers if issues arise from a delivery being refused or incorrect, lorry delays and breakdowns.
raising of credit requests if pricing, quantity errors occur.
