we are seeking to recruit experienced support workers to join us to help support in cheltenham. you will work on a variety of assignments, providing person centred care to young individuals with physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries and learning difficulties.

so, as a support worker what will you be doing day to day?

to communicate clearly and professionally with the clients you are providing care for

to act as a key worker to service users in their place of learning, providing friendship and supporting their care needs

assist clients with personal hygiene need

helping prepare meals and administering medication

providing a positive, safe and person centred support to individuals with various needs, often on a 1:1 basis

to have a calm approach (when client behaviours change or become challenging)

to work as part of an amazing team

attend training as and when required

to join our busy team as a support worker we would require you to have:

a minimum of 12 months experience working in a care environment preferred but training can be provided to the right candidates

references

proof of your right to live and work in the uk

nvq level 2 preferred

successful candidates would be subject to an enhanced criminal record check (dbs)
