as a procurement specialist, you will support the significant growth of the business, reporting directly to the senior procurement specialist, you will be responsible for the procurement of a range of mechanical and electrical components, as well as contract management for required services.
the ideal candidate will be a dedicated and self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal and organisational skills, who can prioritise effectively in a fast-moving environment. you will be a confident communicator and negotiator with the ability to build strong and positive relationships with both internal stakeholder and external supplier/service provider.
whilst the role will have a tactical focus, we are seeking an individual who has a strategic capability and willingness to deliver projects that continually improve efficiencies and reduce costs. the successful candidate will also be willing to undertake occasional travel to other sites throughout the uk.
