we are looking for a housekeeper for a permanent 3 day per week role within a private household in chipping campden, gloucestershire.
the housekeeper will be contracted to work 24 hours per week over 3 days, the family can be flexible on the exact days but would prefer the days of work to be monday, tuesday, wednesday or thursday. the family can offer a permanent contract but are also happy to consider self-employed candidates.
the housekeeper will be responsible for general cleaning and upkeep of the property, organising wardrobes, laundry and ironing as well as being the main point of contact for any visitors/contractors etc. the ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience working for a private family on a permanent basis as a housekeeper, have excellent communication skills, and be organised and reliable.

dusting
vacuuming
mopping floors
changing linen and making beds
laundry, ironing and wardrobe management
house management, organisation and running errands
managing deliveries
regular cleaning and deep cleaning
polishing brass, silver and looking after antiques
packing and unpacking
occasional light cooking
stock inventory
cleaning the oven, refrigerator and other appliances
watering plants
occasional housesitting/pet sitting
dealing with contractors and tradesmen
any other reasonable tasks associated with their role
to be considered for this role you must;
have 5+ years of experience working as a private household housekeeper
possess (/be willing to get) an up-to-date dbs certificate
have excellent contactable references
have a valid passport
be eligible to work within the uk
