an excellent opportunity has arisen to join the front of house team at easyhotel in the centre of edinburgh. we require an enthusiastic, hardworking and motivated individual to join our small hotel.
the role requires that you have an outgoing personality and enjoy meeting people. reporting directly to the director you will have responsibility for dealing with all guest inquiries including checking guests in and out and other receptionist duties along with the duty manager responsibilities. that includes managing staff, planning day-to-day activities, maintaining reservations and payments, supervising housekeeping and maintenance departments, responding to complaints and reviews, preparing purchase orders and processing invoices. taking initiative in ensuring that customers are satisfied and employee interactions with customers are positive. resolving conflicts and troubleshooting issues as they arise. overseeing daily operations, ensuring employee productivity, monitoring efficiency of all processes and creating a positive work environment for employees. meeting regularly with upper management to stay up-to-date with organisational changes, issues and improvements and communicating these to other staff members.
