Billing specialist - united states, lancaster (pennsylvania)

adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a billing specialist opportunity in monroeville, pa.

type: contract 

pay: $21.51/hour

length:  six (6) month, with the possibility of converting to permanent placement
shift/hours: monday – friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

notes:  hybrid, will be coming into the office at least once a week

responsibilities for the billing specialist job:

responsible for qualifying, preparing, and submitting claims to insurance companies

work within several different operating systems and web-based programs to retrieve document images

collect supporting or additional information on fills and work claims through to resolution to ensure compliant, timely, and accurate billing practices

qualifications for this billing specialist job:

high school diploma or equivalent required

minimum 1 year of experience performing healthcare reimbursement, medical insurance/billing, or related work
