Part-time housekeeper in blackheath lewisham area - united kingdom, lewisham, london
family with a three year old, a baby due in early november, and three friendly house cats looking for a part-time housekeeper to assist with general household chores - around 10 hours a week, ideally split over 4/5 days (i.e. a couple of hours a day). the position would initially be for a period of 3 months, with a permanent role available if it is working for all.
pay £12-16 per hour dependent on experience.
we have a cleaner and a nanny, so do not require heavy cleaning work or childcare. typical tasks would include:
empty and load dishwasher
clean out cat litter
water plants
fill up cat food and water
put on laundry
fold laundry/deliver to rooms
empty bins/take out rubbish
limited cleaning as needed (light dusting/hoovering up of cat hair)
ironing
tidy up toys/general tidying
make beds and change bed sheets
the ideal candidate will be reliable, like cats and children, and be able to take initiative to see what needs to be done around the house. must have excellent references, a good command of english, and be able to provide proof of a right to work in the uk if not a british citizen.
