my client based in denstone is currently looking for 4 x full time chef's to join the friendly team in a professional kitchen environment with state of the art combi ovens and a huge kitchen!

outline of duties:

*ensuring a consistently high standard of produce - including preparation, cooking and presentation

*maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to health & safety.

*maintaining the highest standards of hygiene in the preparation and cooking of food.

*maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen equipment and the kitchen areas.

*in the absence of the chef supervisor, supervise the catering assistants.

*assisting in serving all meals for college staff and pupils and for other functions held within the college.

*conserving energy by extinguishing powered cooking equipment, hot plates and lights when not required.

*in the absence of management staff, supervising the allocation of staff to jobs.

the shifts for the kitchen are as follows

* 5 days over 7, 1 day of the weekend with a day off in the week

* 40 hours per week fulltime 52 week contract, 20 days holiday + bank holidays

* shifts will be a combination of 6.45am - 3pm / 8am - 4.30pm / 10.30am - 7.15pm .
