Customer service representative / tsr - 3rd shift - united states, bloomington (illinois)
adecco is assisting an industry leader in retail voice, pos, and data communications client in their search to find a customer service - technical representative in buffalo grove, illinois.
as a technical service representative, you will be responsible for processing customer’s orders, perform basic diagnostics testing and troubleshooting, and assist in training and orientation of new employees when necessary.
the schedule is a 4 x 10 shift - wednesday -saturday 10:00pm-8:30am
responsibilities:
ensure that all service orders are scheduled, completed, and closed in a timely manner
perform basic diagnostic testing and troubleshooting
determine appropriate response time and resolution in servicing customer calls (i.e., emergency, next day, 3-5 business days, scheduled appointment, or customer specific requests)
manage the work order process to ensure customer service level agreements are met
order necessary customer equipment
track the timely shipping and delivery of parts to the customer site
escalate severe issues, trends, or chronic problems to management
assist in training and orientation of new employees when necessary
every customer will receive reliable and professional technical support in a timely and effective manner
accurately analyze situations and take effective action, communicating effectively and diplomatically over the telephone with customers and contractors
requirements:
high school diploma/ged
minimum 2 years’ prior call center/customer service experience, technical experience is a plus
ability to work in a team environment & also self-motivated to work alone
exceptional communication skills
ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume atmosphere
