our client is recruiting professional class 1 & 2 drivers (ce / c / c1) to join their fors gold accredited fleet.

you will be joining an established company supplying the freight forwarders logistics sector & construction industry in and around london and the south east – and further afield as required.

salary £30,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience

established in the 1920s, our client is a trusted service provider and transportation specialist for a number of well-known brands and manufacturing organisations across a range of industries.

they are looking for hgv drivers with:

full driving licence (no more than 3 points)
cpc driver certificate of professional competence
valid digital tachograph card
fors training an advantage, but training will be given
experience driving large, similar vehicles in a proven similar role.

the role entails delivering equipment / pallets to building sites, private addresses which will involve manual handling, for which you must be capable.

english must be of a suitable standard to be safe and competent to understand all rules and instructions within all sites and to adhere to safety procedures effectively.

this role is customer facing so you should have a pleasant and helpful manner while you represent the company at all times.

you will be required to adhere to health and safety, fors and iso procedures and requirements of both our company and those of our customers.
