Mailroom specialist - united states, springfield (oregon)

adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a mailroom clerk position. 

 

type: 40hrs/wk.  contract

start date:  within the next 1 to 2 weeks

location:  springfield, oh  45505(local candidates only)

pay: $16.00/hr

length: 1yr with possibility of extension

shift:  m-f 7am-3:30pm est

 

note:  this is in-office, onsite. no other options available.

 

responsibilities for job include mailroom clerk but are not limited to:   

 

sorting and organizing mail

process manual paperwork and scanning into company system

prepping all incoming electronic mail for distribution

may utilize mail carts

filing in specific order with great attention to detail
 

 

qualifications for this mailroom clerk job:

 

high school diploma or ged

previous mailroom experience highly preferred or at least one year of office work

comfortable sitting and using a computer for long periods of time

ability to work independently to problem solve, organize, and prioritize tasks.

comfortable working in a high volume, fast-paced environment.

able to work effectively in a diverse work group and collaborate with multiple cross functional teams.

ability to communicate clearly, calmly & confidently on the telephone and email with excellent verbal and written communication skills
