essential responsibilities and requirements:
• medical assistants are responsible for collection and documentation of patient information to include vital signs, chief complaint, review of medications, allergies, health risk screen information, status of extended care benefits and other services
• rooming patients, vitals, ekg, injections, tasks, refills, calling patients with results and responding to patients on the behalf of the provider.
• participate in the monitoring of patients with chronic disease and extended care benefits including verification of eligibility and status of services
• compliance with customer services standards, scheduling and entering appointments, demographics and insurance information in idx
• assist with phone calls and messages; document all calls, and actions taken
must have qualifications/experience:
1. high school graduate or ged
2. medical assistant certification
full time, monday through friday 8am to 5pm
weekly pay on friday
four-month contract, with opportunity for extension or full-time offer
benefits available including medical, dental, vision and 401k
