Laundry attendant - united states, bowling green (kentucky)

adecco is currently assisting the thomas-hood veterans center in wilmore, ky to fill several laundry attendant positions.  this is a full time, long-term opportunity. apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

 

pay rate: $13.58

hours: 7am -330pm or 230pm-11pm,  alternating weekends

 

responsibilities for this laundry attendant job include:

sorting linens. towels, clothing and other laundry items by color, size, and material

washing items with commercial laundry equipment and following proper sanitization protocols

cleaning and maintaining laundry room area and equipment

unloading laundry form commercial dryers

stocking supplies such as detergent, bleach, laundry bags and fabric softener

creating laundry tags with identifiable customer information

other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

 

qualifications:

high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

attention to detail when sorting colored items and handling delicate fabrics

excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks throughout each shift

must be able to stand for the duration of the shirt

must be able to lift up to 50lbs, to push, pull, reach, bend or otherwise move objects

employees must always be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees.

assist in the security of the facility for the safety of guests and employees.

comply with fire, health, and safety regulations.
