adecco in partnership with millerknoll is now hiring for a security logistics support officer in zeeland, mi. as a security logistics support officer, you’ll be responsible for answering all phone calls for security services worldwide. you’ll be responsible for updating and maintaining all global security operations center databases. you’ll be utilizing the cctv system and monitoring the access control system. you will be responsible for creating and editing card access, door schedules, badging programs and maintain records associated with the millerknoll brand. this role requires a more experience officer familiar with all software and database platforms used by millerknoll global security operations center.

responsibilities for this security logistics support officer
accurately updated computer-aided software for documentation and dispatching
update and edit procedures for dispatching personnel for emergency and non-emergency response.
have working knowledge of all millerknoll global security operations software and database platforms.
monitor, operate, test, and enter data for various computerized and electronic equipment used in access control, fire, and security systems.
update training and procedure reference material.
perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
provide security and emergency information and assistance to millerknoll employees and clients as needed.
addition skills required:
working knowledge of the following software platforms, including but not limited to omnigo, siemend desigo, lenel onguard, mapline, international s.o.s travel tracker, fexa, microsoft office, milestone smart client, smart pss, avaya phone programming.
ability to interact with personnel at all levels within the corporation, outside agencies, and the public in a friendly, positive, and professional manner.
excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to solve problems and de-escalates situations non-confrontational.
valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
excellent attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to manage multiple job duties.
education requirement:
high school diploma or its equivalent (ged for example), (2) work experience which demonstrates performance competency
an associates degree (or higher) in criminal justice, business administration, computer science, or related field is preferred.
this is a full-time position that allows for a hybrid schedule, monday-friday. some travel will be needed in between facilities.
