Recruitment business partner - east region. maternity contract up to - united kingdom, hertford, hertfordshire

location - remote working with visits to offices or services as required. candidates should live in any of the following locations: herts and essex, surrey, sussex, kent, bedfordshire, cambridgeshire, leicestershire. you will also be required to travel to our head office in bristol, on occasions.

salary information - gbp32,305.51 basic salary plus gbp3840 car allowance. mileage is paid on top.

working hours - monday to friday, 35 hours per week.

contract - 12 months fixed term

a full uk driving licence is essential for this role.

what will you be doing?

to take a lead in the recruitment and selection of established and relief staff including organising local recruitment events, pre-screening, interviewing, assessment days and overseeing the offer and pre employment checking process

to work closely with the regional recruitment administrator throughout all aspects of the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate to employee journey

working in partnership with key stakeholders (heads of care and support, registered area managers, residential operations managers area support managers, cluster team managers and senior hr business partners) to create bespoke recruitment solutions for priority services and to drive reductions in agency spend on temporary cover

to plan and schedule regular local recruitment activities in line with requirements of each service involving the people we support at every opportunity

to manage relationships with third party agencies, ensuring the best commercial arrangements and the highest quality of service provision, monitoring performance through six monthly management information

to work with marketing and communications to ensure that advertising and marketing material is consistent with the hft brand and values

to support in the delivery of recruitment and selection workshops across the uk

utilising reports generated from the applicant tracking system (ats) to identify where hiring managers and support colleagues require further support to improve the candidate to employee lifecycle

working with the senior hr business partner to identify areas of concern highlighted in the onboarding of new starters, supporting with action plans to drive improvements

to demonstrate the impact of activities conducted through accurate reporting and presenting to key stakeholders

to prepare background information for 360 reviews and work to agreed action plans

to support hiring managers and those involved in the recruitment process in keeping candidates engaged throughout the pre-employment process therefore reducing the number of drop outs

to monitor time to hire data and suggest initiatives to reduce delays in the hiring process

working with the hr operations manager to ensure that recruitment processes are updated in line with legislative changes

to work with other colleagues within the people portfolio (hr, learning and development, payroll, partnership form) to ensure a collaborative approach

to network with other recruitment business partners across hft and attend meetings as required, to agree standard processes therefore ensuring consistency across hft in line with brand and values

to undertake any other duties or responsibilities commensurate with the post

skills and experience required:

able to demonstrate a good level of general education to gcse standard in mathematics and english (or equivalent)

a cipd qualification or other relevant professional qualification, or able to demonstrate an equivalent level of knowledge through work based experience

significant experience of working in a recruitment and selection service and evidence of providing professional advice and support to recruiting managers

demonstrable experience of managing and delivering recruitment and selection campaigns to a positive outcome

excellent it skills with experience of ms office and the ability to gather, analyse and interpret data, and draft basic reports

experience of negotiating and managing contracts/budgets with external suppliers, (e.g. recruitment and advertising agencies), to secure preferential terms, ensure best value for money and reduce usage would be a distinct advantage
