we are pleased to be recruiting to be recruiting a b2b editor for our client who is northern irelands leading publishing, exhibitions and events company.
we are looking to recruit an experienced editor or a senior journalist with a proven track record of achievement and who is ready to take the next step in their career. this is a hands-on position in a focused and dedicated team of professionals.
working hours and rate of pay:
37.5 hours per week
hybrid working options available
salary : gbp25-30k per annum, plus bonus opportunities

what the role entails:
we wish to appoint an editor for two or our award-winning titles:
neighbourhood retailer
ireland's forecourt & convenience retailer
the successful candidate will be responsible for all editorial content for each brand including magazines, website, e-newsletters, awards, conference marketing and social media.
they will already be an experienced journalist and talented writer who has already held a senior position and must be able to demonstrate a strong commercial awareness of what needs to be done to make our brands successful in 2022 and beyond, as well as the ability to write quality, relevant, knowledgeable and entertaining content.
the ability to have an eye for a breaking story that will create online engagement and generate revenue friendly ideas to support the sales team.
the successful candidate will be confident, approachable and represent the media group at all industry events.
essential criteria:
qualified journalist with a proven track record of success
excellent writing skills and in-depth knowledge of digital platforms
a minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role
an excellent copy writer and skilled proof-reader
accomplished in social media
must be able to show examples of high-performance publishing work in digital and print
good team player and positive attitude
good knowledge and contacts within ni business community
