1) total of 20 hours, monday to friday from 9am to 10am - break and return for 12:30 - 3:30pm.

2) total of 12 hours. monday to friday from 12:30 - 3:30pm

i am seeking a professional-friendly carer for my sister who has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. she is 38 years; wheelchair bound and uses a ceiling hoist to be transferred. her wheelchair is electric. the house has been adapted to accommodate her needs such as a lift that goes from the lounge to her bedroom and a wet room. i work from home and can be around for help if needed.

my sister has a great sense of humour, welcoming and friendly. during the week, she has a routine and weekends she spends time with family, meet friends, weekend trips and we travel abroad once a year.

main duties.

9am – 10am. hoist her out of bed and onto a commode which goes over the toilet. take to loo, dressed, bring her downstairs. one of the parents will prepare her breakfast, help feed if needed.

12:30 – 3:30pm. lunch, perform a task – she will let you know what needs to be done, bathroom.

different tasks for the week will be but not limited to: shower including hair wash twice a week, cut nails, dust bedroom and wheelchair, hang laundry to dry, ironing, manage her wardrobe, file her paperwork, help with admin.

our ideal carer will speak fluent english, hold 1-year minimum professional caring experience, professional-friendly, high hygiene standards, enjoys caring, good sense of humour.

ealing adult social services will be managing payroll. you must have the right to work in the uk. if you don’t hold a valid enhanced dbs, willing to process one (we will cover the cost).
