we have exciting opportunity for you to be apart of our specialist aviation security team based at heathrow airport ensuring the customer's journey from check-in until departure is as smooth as possible.

all candidates must be in possession of a valid passport and able to travel to israel, as well as having a checkable right to work in the uk.you will be fully trained in israel through a 3.5 week course, fully provided by our client that will enable you to be a trained specialist aviation security agentstarting pay through basic training - £11.64 per hour. pay after completion of training in israel - £13.16 per hour.you will have the opportunity to promote up to supervisor with training provided which will include higher pay rates as you progress through the ranks starting from £13.67 -rising to £16.20.you will work 37.5 hours per week with an opportunity for overtime.how you will make an impact as a aviation cargo screener:

as a cargo screener at securitas, you are a key part of the aviation security operation, using x-ray machines, you will be conducting screening and security checks for prohibited items on cargo to be transported, recording and escalating any issues of concern.

specific duties will include:

required to perform various tasks such as: operation of x-ray machines, physical inspection of cargo and lifting and carrying freight.responsible for using x-ray machines to identify dangerous objects in cargo and preventing those objects from being transported onto aircraft.maintain focus and awareness within an environment containing numerous distractions, people and noise.work within a demanding environment, which includes noise from alarms, machinery, people, distractions, time critical and the requirement to identify and locate potentially life-threatening devices and devices intended on creating massive destruction.make effective decisions in both crisis and routine situations.flexible to work various shift lengths dependent on the volume of cargo aviation | security officer | security guard | customs and excise | passport control | identity check |
