Site specialist - united states, cambridge bay

adecco is looking for a candidate to fill a site specialist position near cambridge, ma. 

this is a 1st shift position, starting at $20 per hour. shift hours: 7-3.30pm. please read the below position summary and qualifications to see if you are eligible.

minimum requirements/qualifications:

  • strong attention to detail and accuracy required.
  • strong organizational skills and time management skills required.
  • ability to work in a self-directed environment with little direct supervision required.
  • must possess effective oral and written communication skills.
  • working knowledge of erp, and mainframe preferred. must be able to learn computer systems as required.

  • high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of inventory management and customer service experience preferred.
  • non-negotiable hiring criteria:
  • ability to communicate with customers, colleagues, and business partners in a professional manner in verbal and written mode.
  • must possess computer proficiency in word and excel.
  • ability to effectively initiate and prioritize workload.
  • able to travel to and work on-site at assigned customer locations required.
  • strong orientation to accuracy and detail.
  • ability to work in customer stockroom environment for extended periods. lift up to 25 lbs. regularly.

  • position summary:
    responsible for the customer service and inventory management aspects of managed services for assigned customers. the primary duty of this position is to support assigned customers by providing accurate inventory stock count, inventory unpacking and storage, and order placement as required to maintain appropriate inventory levels. other duties may include customer service related activities, such as: order entry, order expediting, customer service call resolution, return goods authorization, processing of backorders, vendor and customer interaction, problem resolution, and other project related support of the regional sales team.

    key responsibilities:
    conduct regular inventory counts and update inventory levels of on-site customer stock.
    work with customer procurement team to place orders for replacement stock to replenish inventory levels, based upon pre-determined inventory levels and restocking plans.
    unpackage and check incoming inventory to ensure accuracy of order. re-stock inventory in appropriate storage once received.
    address any discrepancies or concerns through appropriate reps and/or manager or through appropriate customer contact.
    provide sales support for regional sales team, including order entry, order expediting, customer service call resolution, return goods authorization, backorder processing, quote generation and other project-related support.
