the role of warehouse operator is to be accountable for all aspects of goods inward receiving of products, inventory control and dispatching of products against customer orders raised.

in addition to the above, ensure that the warehouse facility is kept clean, tidy and high standards set in company policies and procedures are retained.

the warehouse operator is expected to support and follow the company values, policies and objectives. additionally, also supporting any areas of the business when required.

job responsibilities

receiving of deliveries from appointed freight providers.
checking and receiving of goods delivered are correct quantity & not damaged.
inform sales department and any other relevant team of any discrepancies
complete goods inward process, registration of products on erp system & warehouse inventory location.
ensure all goods are correctly stored and sealed
review daily sales order picking list & process packing of products.
ensure bespoke customer delivery requirements are maintained – where required
produce bar code delivery labels
ensure warehouse is kept clean & tidy and in line with exceptional health & safety standards
ensure safe operation of packaging and fork-lift equipment.
maintaining safe manual handling of products
assisting within the warehouse and logistics departments as and when required

job requirements

2 years’ experience in warehouse picking & packing of products
forklift licence for articulated/fna truck (an advantage – although full training will be given)
knowledge of warehouse procedures and management systems
knowledge and experience of logistics / transportation
o’level / gsce (or equivalent)
basic computer literacy
