adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a reliable warehouse /production associate in lafayette, in. this is for a temp-to-hire opportunity that will give you valuable experience to enhance your career. as a warehouse/ production associate you will be maintaining door production and warehouse area. hours are monday through friday 7am to 4pm or 8am-5pm. pay $16.00-$20.00/hr. depending on experience. if you meet the qualifications listed below, please apply now!
responsibilities for this warehouse/ production associate job include:
locating and pulling correct items by type, style, and quantity as required for filling orders completely, quickly, safely, and accurately
operating forklift safely as required by osha
maintaining knowledge of proper identification of inventory items
focusing on the job you are performing with tools and machinery to maintain a safe environment
pulling and storing all inventory required for production
machining of door and jambs as required, cutting, and assembling door stop, jambs, and casings
pre-hanging door units per work orders
maintaining machines and tooling to allow for quality products
filling out paperwork required for production and turning in when completed
locating finished product per instructions for storage prior to shipping
other duties and special projects as assigned
qualifications:
- hsd
- 1 - years of experience on forklift with proof
- background and drug screen required
- steel toed boots required
