adecco is assisting an international manufacturer in recruiting for a current machine operator opening in richmond, va. this is for a contract-to-hire opportunity. as a machine operator, you will be assisting with warehouse operations. the incumbent will have a hands-on role in loading, unloading and staging raw materials and finished product. apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

responsibilities for this machine operator job includes, but are not limited to:

loading and unloading product

picking and packing orders

selecting products to fulfill orders

operating different machinery on a production floor

maintain a clean and orderly production environment

follow instructions on work orders

work to keep an accurate inventory of parts and assemblies

follow and collaboratively improve processes and procedures

attend production team meetings and participate by providing status information and asking
questions

other duties as assigned

qualifications:

experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

experience working in roofing or construction is a plus

ability to accurately follow written instructions.

ability to stand and work for the full shift

requires that you be able to lift 40 pounds

candidates must have own and reliable transportation

schedule: full-time – rotating schedule 11:00pm – 7:00am

pay for this position ranges from $19.09/hr. depending on experience.
