together with our client we are seeking a direct hire senior cnc machinist to fill a 1st shift role at their location. $35 per hour, monday-friday 7am-3:30 pm with weekends as needed for overtime. full benefits will be provided by employer.
what do we need from you:
ideal senior cnc machinist will be responsible for the setup of jobs on the cnc machines, including programming/edits as required. coordinate the activities of the cnc operators on the floor, responsible for efficient production, producing quality machined parts, spc charting, gauging, problem solving and reading and interpreting blueprints. he/she will perform administrative functions and is responsible for the training of apprentices, operators and set-up personnel on the specified shift.
our machinist operate one or more single or multiple-spindle horizontal chucking machines (lathes) to perform a series of machining operations, such as turning, boring threading and facing, on metal parts according to specifications, tooling instructions, standard charts and knowledge of turning procedures.
