Apprentice nursery practitioner level 2 / childminders assistant - united kingdom, kingston, london
small family run business established for 16 years seeks a bubbly, energetic, friendly, approachable apprentice to work monday to wednesday (8am to 6pm) alongside the registered childminder caring for 6 children aged 1-5 years old. assisting to ensure the smooth running of this 'just like home' setting. no experience necessary as full training will be provided but a passion to work with babies and toddlers and a desire to learn and be proactive is essential.
general care and supervision of the chidren assisting with their play, learning and development. preparation of activities to meet children's individual needs. supervision of snacks and mealtimes and feeding of younger children. nappy changes as required. assisting on our daily outings within our local community; walks by the river, trips to the park and local playgrounds as well as assisting with school runs. communicating and working with parents in relation to their child's day. assisting to maintain all written records and supporting the childminder to ensure good outcomes for the children that attend the setting including attending training sessions as required.
