the role

maintaining and up keeping a property, or building is the job of a caretaker. the responsibilities will vary, depending on the employer and their needs. everything that has to do with the aesthetics, operation and various functions falls under their care.

a caretaker usually performs many of the following tasks:

cleaning the grounds and inside buildings
removing waste using a tipper van provided
some plumbing work
overseeing surveillance
painting and decorating

the ideal candidate will have general knowledge and experience with plumbing, wood work, painting, decorating.

the job may include trips to sites up to 3 hours away from leicester for day jobs. over time paid for hours outside of the usual 8 hours per day.

working hours will be 9- 5pm

part-time hours: 16 per week

salary: £10.00 - £15.00 per hour
