our client in dallas, tx asked our search team to find them a technical architect for their application development team. you will manage all aspects of the design, programming, and implementation of all applications and systems from initial design through testing, rollout, and evaluation. salary for this role is between $125k-$$160k, full benefit package!! monday-friday 8:30am-5:30pm, evening work may be required as needed. opportunity for two days a week to be remote.
what your duties include:
exercises independent judgment and discretion in overall project management by prioritizing, planning and tracking project progress within the department
designs, develops, and modifies applications including test environments
manages the preparation of detailed specifications used to write, design, code, test, debug, and maintain complex programs
consults with internal departments to identify and document user requirements and performs detailed systems analysis for proposed development
effectively leads the team to meet deadlines in a dynamic, and fast paced environment
completes various tasks including requirement gathering, technical design, project management, unit testing and production support simultaneously
functions efficiently in a diverse team with the ability to operate independently under minimal supervision
education & experience:
bachelor’s degree required, preferably in computer science, information technology or related field
previous technology consulting experience is big plus
10+ years’ technology experience managing complex software implementation projects, especially on microsoft database conversion, ssas backend data modeling and power bi implementations
8+ years’ experience in the following:
systems architecture
strong sql databases and writing complex queries experience based in transact sql
strong ssas data modeling and power bi experience for business data intelligence and reporting will be big plus
programming (c#/.net)
programming in web environments (javascript, html, ajax and react js a big plus) with databases (mssql)
strong experience using team foundation server managing code review and source control
experience with ms visual studio 2019 or later
familiarity with development and administration of microsoft sharepoint 2019 or later
familiarity with accounting financial system preferred
ability to create documentation and comply with departmental and business requirements
