the purpose of this company is to provide high quality care workers to a range of care homes who are looking for help caring for their service users including the elderly and people with physical and/or learning disabilities.

they partner with care agencies to provide an outsourced solution for the hire and management of temporary care workers. their mission is to become the leader in vendor-neutral temporary recruitment for the care sector across the uk.

as an account manager, you will be providing support to their care homes and agency partners. you will ensure all of their care home requirements are understood and fulfilled by the business.

what the role requires:

- ensuring all allocated accounts are maximising spend

- ensuring maximum revenue opportunities are realised against all allocated accounts

- influencing existing client contract renewals by working with operational stakeholders

- communicating to all sponsors/stakeholders on a weekly basis to inform what activity has taken place on the account

- meeting with nominated client representatives on a monthly basis to report and present management information and project progress

- networking and developing relationships with care homes and suppliers

- ensuring all 'live' or potential locations are managed and requirements are fully understood and managed

- ensuring client pay and charge rates remain competitive within the market and ensuring they are a chosen partner

- ensuring all agreed actions are completed within agreed timescales

who they are looking for:

- 2+ years of working in recruitment/temporary staffing

- 2+ years working in the care sector

- 2+ years working with account management experience

- c-level relationship building

- working with suppliers to fill care home requirements for temporary staff

- can keep on going, even when it gets hard and the world is against you

- organised enough to manage an end-to-end sales cycle from cold call to close

- be naturally goal-orientated and competitive; a will to succeed and win

- world-class customer service

- experience of dealing with multiple opportunities at any one time

- comfortable in a targeted environment

essential attributes:

- experience working in recruitment within the care sector is a must

- previous account management experience is essential

- strong organisational, prioritisation skills and attention to detail

- articulate with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and relationships

- superb relationship building skills

- high motivation working as an individual salesperson and to be able to demonstrate this

- confident operator on the telephone

- deliver excellence on a consistent basis, be it with people - by phone, written and in person
